Garage Door Only Opens 6 Inches

My garage door opens about six inches and stops i press the button twice so it will stop going down and then is goes up another 6 inches or so.

The door of my craftsman system open ok but close only if the button of the wall control remain pressed until the door reach the floor. Garage door will only open about 3 inches then stops this morning i opened my garage door drove out tried to close it but it refused to close. If the garage door connected to your liftmaster opener only opens part of the way or it begins to open but then reverses check the track and the surrounding area for any objects that may obstruct. When i try to close or open my garage door i only hear a clicking noise from the unit the light is on it has power its not the remote.
